It was a great show, but just not sure it would still work today. One of the joys was Richard O'Brien and his apparent contempt for all the contestents.

He was at the anniversary show for Rocky Horror in London earlier this year and was looking pretty good for his age, but then he did look bloody old.

So I think you'd have to have a new presenter and in so doing, I dont think it would be good as it was. It lost it so quickly after Ed T-P took over, so you'd need to find someone really good to step into the role and I cant imagine anyone cool enough wanting to present a channel 4 gameshow!!

Personally, the crystal maze was better when Richard O Brian used to host it. Sadly i think he has passed away. The show could never find another dynamic presenter so i think the show should be left where it is and not ever return to our screens. We are in a new age - lets come up with new game shows.

Yes I would love to see it back on. Richard O'Brien got really ill making the series though and that is why he quit so it would be a different presenter. They have tried to recreate it with Jungle run for kids but it's not quite the same.

definitely - quality entertainment watching 30 year old accountants in ill fitting track suits attempt to wire a massive plug...top fun (can still be seen on challenge)...

as for a host - i think richard is possibly past it (and wasnt he replaced by ed tudor pole anyway?)...how about eddie izzard...suitably random, would babble to the camera in a similar style?

so any tv execs reading this...get it sorted!

You took the words right out of my mouth!

I can't believe it was never recommissioned. It was definitely one of the best shout-at-you-tv programmes ever!!!

It would have to be presented by Richard O'Brian though!!!
The world needs to hear his skills on the harmonica again ; )

I absolutely loved it to and would dearly like to see it back on our screens. Not sure what Richard O'Brien is doing these days as I havn't seen or heard anything of him. Did you used to bite your nails when they were trying to do their tasks before they got locked in? I did!!!!

I too loved that show and would love to see it back on the TV. Was it Richard Bryer, the Rocky Horror show man, who hosted it. If I have his name wrong, please remind me.

OK sorry it's Richard O'Brian. Who is Richard Bryer I wonder?

Oh, yes please. That was the best show Channel 4 ever did. If it came back it would have to be presented by the rocky horror bloke - he was a complete sadist - brilliant!
