nothing is impossible.

a married man can resist temptation by removing his self from it.

bad company creates bad impulses.

when one stop drinking one does not continue going to bars-
they stop that action- when a man is tempted by a woman-he moves from that woman--

he no longer assoicates with that woman or women.
lust is sin-yes but when h you yeild to lust you commit adultery and that is pure willful sin.....

one should never allow themselves to be in a position to be tempted.
never compromise.
drinking ect is that worst culprit that leads to adultery.

It's about being honest with yourself and with your chosen partner. For me? I am not in a committed relationship so that I can go and sleep with other people. You're right in a sense that sometimes if you expressly forbid something it is human nature to at least 'have a peek.' However my relationship is not a burden around my neck it is something I love, relish and enjoy every day. I am aware of my partner and I's failings as humans, but we work on things together and feel a strong connection with each other. Some couple's deal with the 'forbidden fruit' idea by having open relationships or swingers parties. For me I'd rather be single if that's what I wanted.

If you get an honest answer from a man let me know. I have been divorced 3 times. First husband cheated on me. Second husband kept throwing up to me how a girl he worked with wore dresses all the time (even though he knew I trained horses) when he married me: The last one, well he abused my children. So I look forward to reading the answers from the men on your question.

I know plenty of men who would be faithful to their wives. But relationships take work, and men and women need to make sure they work to keep their marriage harmonious.
