No, your breasts will produce milk as long as you are breastfeeding; therefore when you stop breastfeeding, you will continue to produce milk for a short while, until the body readjusts. The milk, that the baby doesn't eat will simply evacuate from your breasts or be absorbed into your body-tissue.
If you are worried, consult your doctor, he or she can explain to you, how to check your breasts for early signs of cancer.
Best of luck.

breast feeding[or the lack of it] is not the reason or has never been related to breast cancer ! Mother's breast milk is suppose to help the baby to build stronger immune system faster n better. Just like Idoh said, the milk would eventually stop automatically if the mother stop breast feeding. Breast feeding is also said to enhance the healing of the vagina which has gone through great stretching during giving birth. Talk to your doctor to know more about breast cancer prevention n regular self checks to detects any early sign of suspected cancer !

Just the opposite, breastfeeding dramatically decreases your chances of getting breast cancer in the future. It has been estimated that breastfeeding for as little as six months decreases the odds of developing breast cancer by more than 50%. And that's a big difference!
