my son ia 22 and i have become aware of the fact that he is using tablets called TERAMADOL and smoking grass please tell me what i can do how am i suposed to go about doing it and tell me all you know about grass and tramadol are they really dangerous?

having been to classes for adictions. This is what you do . Or rather what you don't do . You don't ever rescue him.Not unless you want him to stay that way for indefinately. And I know you don't . whatever problems his useage causes , don't get him out of it . whatever consequenses he may face, don't stand in the way . And don't obsess . Alot easier said than done, i know. But you still need to live your own life , and not let him take it over with obsessions and actions . I've never heard of Tramadol,i'm sorry. And grass ? well it depends on how much and how frequently . It's not much different from alcohol . except that it's illegal . So if he gets in a scrape with the law .. stay out of it .

tramadol is a terrible drug.it is a generric name for ultram. some drs say it is not a narrcotic, please dont believe that. i was strung out on tramadol for two yrs. i had this old man that would sell them to me for two dollars a pill. at the end of my pill use i needed 15 to20 pills a day. i was really thinking about committing suicide because i couldnt get that kind of money every day and when i didnt have my pills my body would hurt everwhere, i have diareaha, the shakes, every kind of withdrawl system you would have comming off of herion. i had to get into a methadoneclinic or die. i not one to say any thing really good about methadone but i will say it saved my life.does your son want help? if not ,i hate to say it, but there is really nothing you can do except pray for your son and be there for him when he finally reaches out and believe me he will be reaching out. hang in there and keep praying. hope this helps.

TALK TO YOUR SON AND TELL ( SAY IT JUST LIKE THIS AND BE CALM ABOUT IT THE WHOLE TIME THAT YOU ARE TALKING ) HIM THAT YOU LOVE HIM SO MUCH AND THAT IT WOULD COULD BREAK YOUR HEART TO SEE HIM LOSE SO MUCH OF HIS LIFE TO SUBSTANCE AND ASK HIM IF HE WOULD PLEASE GIVE IT UP.
