self confidence is being sure(confident) in yourself, your abilities,and even your not so strong points. Motivation is the drive it takes to wake up every morning and face the world, face yourself,fears, failures, accomplishments and joys.

Self confidEnce is a sense of believing in oneself and knowing your capabilities and weaknesses realistically, not feeling insecure and afraid in new and unfamiliar situations, and not fearing or panicking in stressful situations, sort of. Motivation is a force that drives you to learn something or work on something - it could be a desire of some sort, or the wish to earn money, or curiosity... whatever keeps you "on task." Then again, check a dictionary, I have no further motivation to explain this :-)

Self confidence is a feeling which must be brought about in one self by observing sucessful person and it always be at a high. Motivation is brought about others in a person when he/she faces a problem or something of that sort by encouraging the person.

Self confidence is feeling good about yourself and having a good idea of who you are and what you have to offer in life or to someone else. It is not being cocky but it is knowing what traits you have that are good to have and knowing how to use them. It is looking at the glass half full instead of half empty - being optimistic. It is pride in oneself. It is an air of confidence.

Motivation is the drive or desire to do something - to succeed.. it is what makes us work for something or want something.. what keeps us going. It can also come from others and in that aspect, it is like encouraging someone to do something - believing that they can do it.

Self confidence is simply believing yourself and your own capabilities. It is trusting YOU!
Motivation is what helps you to believe in yourself and just shows you a different perspective of things/life.
