This speaks to me...but not what most people get. If you watch this film clip it seems as if this movie Obsession is seriously edited and geared towards people who want an even bigger reason to to justify having gone to war with Iraq...because they are Muslim. This is turning it into a religious war. Another person responded to a question very poignantly by stating if a Jehovas Witness's (christian) declared holy war against all Muslims then the people who follow the religion can claim that all Christians are terrorists. The movie is seemingly trying to portray and to give us a reason to believe that this war in Iraq is "ok" and we "should" be there.Does anyone else get that or do we all flat out believe what we see on t.v. if it is in a documentary format that contains some 'shock and awe' footage? We need to wake up and remember our own history...remember what we did when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor to the Japanese Americans...?

I am so sorry...World War 11(eleven) or World War II (meaning 2)? That is just to funny not to bring it to attention. Anyhow, thank you for replying, it appears you are in agreeance with the film.

I never said that Johovas Witnesses were terrorists or wanted to fight at all, I was just using them as an example of how absurd it is to say that ALL Muslims want to kill all Westerners. It is a certain group of extremists who feel that way...not all of them. I was only using Jehovas Witness as an 'imiginary' example that if they were to become terrrorists and the rest of the world could then claim that ALL Christians are out to kill anyone who is not a Christian. That is all. No need to explain what Jehovas Witnesses beliefs or values; we get that knocking on our doors from time to time. Thanks

Jehovah's Witnesses are true Christians; they do *NOT* 'declare war' on anyone.

True Christianity is unique in that it has no provision for its adherents to engage in warfare. Those ostensible "Christians" who do so ignore the Scriptures and the teachings and example of Jesus Christ himself.

(Matthew 26:52) Jesus said to him: “Return your sword to its place, for all those who take the sword will perish by the sword

(Isaiah 2:4) They will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.

(2 Corinthians 10:3-4) We do not wage warfare according to what we are in the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly

(Luke 6:27-29) I [Jesus] say to you who are listening, Continue to love your enemies, to do good to those hating you, to bless those cursing you, to pray for those who are insulting you. To him that strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also

Vindication !! Thats like my uncle Bill killing someone, and me getting the chair for it. Nonsense.
Yet another bogus propoganda movie. It may as well have been done by Spielberg.
The CIA and the NIS were instructed by the Bush Administration to find evidence to confirm Saddam had Nuclear and Biological weapons Programs actively in use. The CIA and NIS new from the outset that they would find it impossible to do this, because they had no intelligence what-so- ever to give to the Bush administration who were demanding proof. They managed, between them to supply Bush & Cheney a report that was`nt worth the paper it was printed on. These agencies said at the time, and have continued to admit, to this day. Saddam had NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. NONE !! The US and the UK went to war for NOTHING, It takes ONE BULLET TO ASSASINATE A TYRANT, NOT 650 000 DEAD PEOPLE. IT IS AN ILLEGAL WAR, pure and simple. And don`t give me any crap about violating UN sanctions, they were devised specifically to entrap the Hussein regime, thus ensuring he had absolutly no choice but to violate them.
I believe that now the US and UK have tested the water, as it were. They have set a precedent where by, you don`t actually need a viable excuse for invading another country and killing it`s people, they have devised their own set of rules. Astonishing and terrifying and truly barbaric.

Tough one Jessy. More people have been killed in the name of religion than anything else. To a degree I understand the middle east people being upset because of the crusades. I live not too far from one of the internment camps (Topaz, Utah) and have visited the site. People's emotions run strong when there is one of their own who is devalued or killed and honor dictates that there should be some kind of retribution. In our country under the rule of law we expect that to effectively handle matters. Where the rule of law is not the predominate base of the nation other things happen. After all my rambling in the middle east, if a cleric declares jihad then his followers are expected to follow, which is not the case where you have a codified rule of law, external from the legal functioning of the government. WE have had our own wackos too, Jonestown and Waco come quickly to mind, but the state rightly or wrongly controlled the episode to one site.

I am not particularly fond of the war in Iraq. But then, I am not privy to all that I would need to know to make a decision. Neither are you.
I do know that if our country had the liberals we have now in the days of WW11, you would be speaking Japanese or German. That is, if you were speaking anything . It would be an educated guess in saying, "YOU were not alive , when WW11 was being fought." So you are basing your belief on what you have seen on TV or read in some watered down American Mythology History book. The absence of any plan of action to win the war may very well caused our defeat.

I don't base opinions on the media. I do know, the majority of Muslims, regardless of sect are out to get us. Period.
I also believe that unless we get our heads straight they are going to do it.

The war in Iraq was a vindication for what the terrorists did to America in 9/11 just like what USA did to Japan for bombing Pearl Harbor.

I agree that this movie is seriously slanted. That is why I have placed it in the slot labeled "Propaganda" along with the Michael Moore "Fahrenheit" movie. Anything that twists and slants the truth (my perception of truth) as this seems to is to be viewed with some skepticism when it obviously is in conflict with reality. Of course, reality is only our perception and view of what we see from news which we must treat with some skepticism itself - correct?
