The house is a forgone conclusion, the GOP will lose at least 15 seats there. The senate is the only question mark.

I Agree the GOP will lose more 15 Seats, I say 20 to 30 Seats in the House, LOL the Senate is not really like the House, One Race at a Time here, OHIO, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, GOP will Definelity lose, MONTANA, MISSOURI, may go the Dems as well, NEW JERSEY and MARYLAND is in Dems hands it will stay that way.

Listen VIRGINIA and TENNESSEE both will be deciding factors, If the GOP Holds on those Races their Hold on to the Senate, but If it split or the DEMS win Both Races, the Senate like the House will be in Democratic Hands and If that happen CONGRESS as a whole will challenge the Bush Administration on every single Issue.

To prevent that let Nancy Pelosi be House Speaker, but at the Same Time, make sure George Allen stay in the Senate, and Harold Ford doesn't come in and Dick Cheney as Vice President comes in as the Deciding factor.

Democratic House, Republican Senate, this will drive the Bush Administration Nuts, okay Its Drive America Nuts.

Its makes Sense a Divided Nation, a Divided Congress, It Happened Right Around 9/11 why not Now, I prefer a Dysfunction Congress, then a Rubber Stamp, or I'm getting you for this Congress.

Depends on who's counting the votes. My only concern at this point is whether or not any results are trustworthy. And if there is more evidence of tampering and voter deterrents like recent elections, are we going to demand voting reform or are we going to sit on our butts again and let what little democracy we have left slide down the drain along with our courage? Not that I would even know how to help organize a movement that would actually be heard or do any good, but c'mon! Other countries riot in the streets over simpler voting problems than we've had! One thing's for sure, though, I'm not resting until at least the voting machine problem has been resolved. I want paper ballots and screw the deadlines... let's count and recount the damn votes 10 times if we have to until we come to some kind of real consensus! I don't care if we have to wait to hear the results, I want it done right from now on! (yes I'm a little nervous about the election)

The senate is the GOP'S. The House is leaning Democrat, but I wouldn't sell out yet. Call it wishful thinking, but there's a huge upsurge of Republican support nationwide. All the polls picked up on it. But is it enough? Considering that Dems are historically less likely to vote, we just may have a handful of surprises tomorrow or Wednesday. But even if the dems take control of the House, they will have gained very little. Of the dems expected to win, over 30 of them are not really dems afterall. They simply ran as a dem for convenience. The dems therefore, will never enjoy a party line vote on anything. That's the real surprise yet to be digested by all their supporters.

Reps keep control but with a smaller majority. Probably 52-53 seats.

As a person of 21 who voted in the last election and having voted in this one, I must agree with Beach Bum-my enthusiasm for the Democrats winning it back has wanned. I hope they will, but it's been so dismal lately, it's hard to keep a shining disposition.

What do you mean? What party? Hopefully the democrat party at least. Republicans taking over America would literally be equivalent to a oligarchy nation. Freedom would be even more limited.... and then I'm moving to Europe.
