Sounds like the same thing to me except who is making the arrangements. BTW, dating as we know it today is rather a recent phenomenon. Dating has been around for only about 150 years. Arranged marriage was rather commonplace before that. Your future spouse could have a few teeth missing but he came with a few chickens and an goat and usually from a good family. Now of course, the divorce rate has never been higher than today's rate.
