I have been reading about the middle east in American, German, Brittish, Russia, to name a few western countries, So far everyone of them has invaded the middle east at some point, all for resources, and each time they were driven out. Do you think the East has a legitimate reason to hate, and a legitimate reason to fight back as fercecly as they do.

Let's be fair. As much "foreign countries" have invaded the "middle east", throughout history, nations of the middle east have also invaded other countries as far away as Europe. If one argues that "The East has a legitimate reason to hate and to fight back", then the same is true for those other foreign nations. Do you seriously believe that this is the road to peace?

I agree with answerer 1. Last year we had a holiday in southern Austria, and part of the local history there was the insecurity and loss of life and property caused in the 1500's when it was the front line of defence against the Ottoman Empire trying to expand further into Europe.

This questioner is a pot who is calling the kettle black.
