Halo 2 has no cheat codes, but there are hidden skulls which have effects that are similar to using cheat codes.
Basically, you find the skulls, and then UNTIL YOU SHUT OFF THE XBOX, you'll have whatever effects you've picked up..
The skulls only affect storyline play,not the multiplayer maps. There is a link below with a list of all of the skulls, along with how to get them. (You might also want to look around the "trick" areas of the forums to see things about how to get out of the maps, perform "superbounces", etc, including multiplayer maps.)
You can also cheat with one of the skulls. The one hidden on Delta Halo ("envy" skull) gives Masterchief the temporary invisibility like the Arbiter has. BUT.. if you use the skull, and are invisible at the moment a checkpoint is loaded, you can reload that checkpoint and be invisible for the rest of the level.
Good luck, and have fun.. some of the skulls are hard to get, and SOME of the skull effects aren't good ones.. (like the "Assassin" skull which makes all of your enemies invisible!)
