How do I remove rubbing alcohol stain from my carpet?

I sprayed alcohol directly onto my carpet in order to clean some fresh water-based paint. I was able to remove the paint but the alcohol created stain on my carpet.

alcohol shouldn't have stained...you said you sprayed it...what else was in the bottle?
