Yes. Although I had 7 children and now have 8 grandchildren there are some experiences that just don't get any easier, and one is traveling in confined spaces, for prolong periods of time... and being subjected to the usual noise, smells and stress that babies/small chidren create as part of their being. I do however suggest that the area offered (not nessessarily the rear of the plane... but close to the toilet is good!) is one that has been designed for babies and their parents so they are able to travel in comfort. Win-win for everyone (apart from the airlines).

I don't mind kids or babies on planes, but I do get annoyed at passengers who tilt their seat so far back that it invades my space and makes it impossible to watch the in flight movies on the screen on the back of their seat.

hmmmm.....can't they just put them in the baggage section...?..lol... hell ....I wish we could ban them from restaurants , stores.. etc etc...Its not that I don't like babies or kids... but the shrieking , crying, tantrums etc. can ruin the ambiance of any venue!
