Any moderate hotels in singapore?

I am going to singaore in january for weeks and i wanted a good hotel for a reasonable price possibly in central areas...i have been in bencoolen hotel in bencoolen street but they are fully booked now and last time i spend a night in hotel 81 in bencoolen street was horrible...so any other good hotels?

We stayed at the Robertson Quay Hotel when we were there in May and it was ok. The hotel was under renovation, and the rooms were small, but all we did was sleep in the hotel anyways, so it didn't bother us. You can book on line at http://www.robertsonquayhotel.com.sg/ . The room we got didn't look as nice as the one on the web, but we didn't have any problems. I left my cell phone and a pair of shoes in the room and they were kind enough to send them back to me.

They are also on the river, so it was a good location. A short walk to the other Quays where all of the restaurants are at, and I think only $3SD for a taxi from the hotel to Suntec City Centre, although we walked there as well a few times. Hope this helps!
