*Incredible* -- seven answers and all not even close, most from some other ball game actually!
First of all it is NOT a Water & Fire but an Air & Fire combination (despite its alluding name Aquarius is an Air sign and not a Fire sign).
Fire *feeds* air, but Leo can be a pinch too dominant for the Aquarian whereas Aquarius can be too free, detached, or independent for the Leo. They are complimentary opposites, but the Leo has to make the compromises without possessiveness.
The Chinese combination between Tiger & Dog (1974 - 1982, perhaps?!) is one of the best possible for both parts! However it does stimulate more the independence of the Aquarius while making the Leo a bit more traditionally conservative. Not really the *best of the best* but better with Male Aquarius Tiger to Female Leo Dog than vice versa.
Conclusion: a matter of combining originality with tradition ... give the relation at least three months.

The comment for Leo reads 'entertaining', but for Virgo 'lacks harmony'. Libra -next sign up- is 'superlative'. I see a merry dance and lots of games up a mountain, but the power axes are misaligned and the souls don't touch.
When I look them up in tables I don't just look up the sun sign, but the ascendant and a couple of the major players, Moon especially. I find myself physically attracted to close matches which should be interpreted as 'clues', and which enable me to narrow down the field. Maybe what you have already contains some of what you are looking for...
