sorry mates, the questions were mistyped, they should have been as follows:

1. simplify 3x +6 divided by ( x - 1)(x+2)

2. given that log10 to the power n minus log10 to the power m equals 2log10 to the power h. show that n equals mh to the power2.

3. simplify xsq minus 2 divided by x minus square root of 2.

thanks to all who have already answered.as to those who opt to call me names, i say, i do not mind.

1.
3x + 6/((x + 1)(x + 2)) Factor 3 out of the top.
[3(x + 2)]/[(x + 1)(x + 2)] x+2's cancel
3/(x + 1) <-- This is simplified.

I don't have the energy to do the other ones right now. :/

(2?3 - a million)(2?3 + a million) = 11 (2?3)^2 + 2?3 - 2?3 - a million^2 = 11 4 * 3 - a million = 11 12 - a million = 11 11 = 11 the left section is the a number of of two squares a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b) (2?3)^2 - a million^2 (2?3 + a million)(2?3 - a million)

1.
(3x +6)/( x - 1)(x + 2) =
3(x + 2)/( x - 1)(x + 2) =
3/(x - 1)

2.
log(10^n) - log(10^m) = 2log(10^h)
nlog10 - mlog10 = 2hlog10
n - m = 2h, so that doesn't work.

if n = mh^2
log(n) = log(m) + 2log(h)
log(n) - log(m) = 2log(h)

3. (x^2 - 2)/(x - √2) =
(x + √2)(x - √2)/(x - √2) =
x + √2

Here in the UK it's 6.49 am and they aren't making a lot of sense to me either.

Saying that, making a cup of coffee has just been a struggle.
