well i tore my retina when i was in primary school and i had to have lazer surgery - i was almost blind if i hadn't gone to my optomertrist when i did, another 24 hrs and the sight in that eye would have gone.

But i wasn't able to go to school for weeks and i had to stay lying down for those weeks .. i had to really take it easy so i wouldn't suggest going back to school tomorrow ..

please my dear, you just had a surgical operation with your eye. and you know fully well that the eye is essential in school activities because without it you can not read or write so i will advise you to take some time off from school to rest a bit for your eyes to rest a bit and be balanced before going to school say one week is ok.

your eye surgeon will determine when you should go back to school...if he/she has not released you to resume normal activities...then the answer is NO. Trust me, it is not worth risking your eye health to rush things.
