Don't worry, you are normal. Some women just get them worse than others..my mother had the same problem (she'd be flat on her back for a whole week through her teens and 20's). Mine are much more mild. It just depends on your biological makeup. To help with the pain, you could take ibuprofen..a hotpad also seems to work. If you still can't stand dealing with them, see a doctor. They may put you on birth control or something else that will make the cramping less severe.

See a doctor to rule out anything wrong, or pathological, in other words, a disease that is making your periods feel worse. Many women have very painful periods and back pain as well as nausea can be a part of it. After you have seen a doctor and have been cleared, try taking up to 3 200mg Advil (ibuprofen is the same thing, that's the drug name, Advil is a brand name) for a total of 600mg. You can take it every 6 hours. Take it with a little food, like a cracker or piece of toast so it doesn't bother your stomach. It will help the pain and may also alleviate the nausea, because the nausea is probably caused by the intensity of the pain.

each girl has different symptoms or however you might call them when they are on their days. some have bad cramps while others dont, and some might feel nauseas while others bcome very sluggish. each girl is unique, but if you are still concerned, ask your doctor. its best to know than to stay with your doubt.

I have the same problem. I would go to a OB/GYN and get checked out. Maybe being put on birth control will help. Since it can lighten or even stop your periods!
