I ask because I cant figure out myself why I like it.

Is it seeing how many points you can get? learning about yourself and other people? bordom? Has it just become a routine in your day? something else?

I have a stressful life and no time for me most days. Not being able to get everything done drives me crazy. When I am on here I feel like for some unknown reason I get something done. I guess I finish what I start. Like in answering a questions. That is the only thing I can figure it is with me. Plus it's fun and I like seeing the different types of questions .

I like seeing how other peoples brains work,it gives me a voice about political issues that frustrate me and I know even though I write my congressman,he's not listening,At least here you get a response, some peoples questions really make me think, some have shown me a different side of things and given me a new outlook, and a couple of times I think I have been able to help people with some real problems and some days I need to laugh and I just check out the jokes. And sometimes I have had some questions that would have taken alot of searching and 'BAM' 5 answers in about two minutes

Hmmm, good question :) Its a combination of things. I am trying to get to level 2. Though I'm not so sure that will ever happen ;) For answering some questions, I like the challenge. For others I like to think that I have helped somebody. For some, its just for fun or to express myself. Then there is the other part, the asking of questions. I love to hear others' perspectives on things. Its is nice to get a quick response on something. And, its cool to have place you can ask a question that you might never have asked in the real world and maybe there is no forum or other place to ask it on the internet.

So, its part pastime activity, part resource.

It is a good activity while I avoid doing what I should be doing. I don't care about the points anymore, although level 5 would be nice. I'm just usually compulsive about something at any given point, and for now this seems to be it. And the laughs of course, plus it really is a way to find out how other people think about things.

I guess if I can help someone by either enlightening them in some way, or just making them smile or laugh, thats fullfilling to me. Its kinda entertaining too....shoot, we pay for the internet, we might as well get our money's worth, and if we run out of things to look for.....this works. Then there's that competitive side of me that likes the points too....Ok, but maybe the real reason....I have no life!!! Oh well, don't over analyse it....take the fun out of it!! See ya!

I enjoy being here because I like to see my points go up and also learning about what others think, sometimes. :)

Fun, passing along a little life learning (that my own two adult children don't want to hear), venting a little, and just a way to unwind a bit too.

I think it's just fun - no great satisfaction or fulfillment to be had, really. You can also meet some interesting folks.
