My dog Max, a golden retriever does talk to me....well, kind of...what I get out of it is this...thank you for loving me, thank you for caring for me and I am so grateful that you chose me.., I try not to make a lot of messes that you need to pick up off the grass, and I appreciate that too.....BUT, don't think for one minute that I am going to follow you around and pick up your poop....

My dog and cat would say "I miss you. Come home," because I had to leave both of them at my Grandma's house when my semester started two months ago.
