Did you know earthworms are a high source of protein? Just the same I don't want them in my burgers. It would cost McDonalds a lot more to make worm burgers than beef burgers. It's just another one of them urban myths. Go ahead and eat that Big Mac if that is what you like. But here is a fact about McDonalds that is true... Too many burgers make you FAT.

McDonald's follows strict safety and health regulations, and NO there are no worms in the meat, but the meat is made of 50% water to make the meat patties juicier.

Actually, the burgers are healthier than the fries, nuggutes and selects.

the answer (thankfully) is NO. if it were true, McDonalds restaurants would be immediately shut down by every state and local board of health in the US faster than you can say "Super Size Me."

Also, McDonalds is a big company with a reputation that already takes a beating because of their fatty foods. They would never jeopardize their company by doing something so foul.

Common sense should tell us this rumor is false. Pound for pound, earthworms cost more than beef — it doesn't make sense to use a filler that is more expensive than what's being replaced.

fiction all processed foods are allowed a percentage of insects, feces, etc as its impossible to be 100% pure when mass marketing, but mcdonalds isn't using earthworms, i believe a part of it is soy protein.
