Who are you?

Normally, we answer this question with a name, or a position, or a title, etc. But people are more than just their names or their positions.

Now, aside from the normal stuff, maybe you can give me a deeper answer on this question... one that maybe tells people your essence.

Oh well, this may sound stupid but it'll make me smle if you give it a try. I wanna hear from you!

Well, okay. I'm a Canadian middle-aged mom with 2 sisters and a brother, a great old mom you'd love and I have two annoying cats. I'm still a Christian even though I don't like church - I still gauge my behaviour on whether or not Jesus would approve. I belonged to the Green Party but backed away from that, which shames me, but it's hard for me to mix with people. I'm inching my way back in. I used to have an amazing singing voice, but I haven't sung in ages. I love classical music, but not to the exclusion of all other types. I have many gifts, but don't like to use them for personal gain or glory (the Christian upbringing). I am in mourning for the world I loved as a child - clean air, silences, kind strangers and very little violent crime. I feel sad for young people today who have been raised by the media - they have no idea how brainwashed they are. I do not fear growing old or dying. I hate that my older sister has had migrains all her life, while I have been healthy and relatively pain-free. I wish there were some way to trade places with the young man my daughter has just fallen in love with (it's her first big love at age 24) - they just discovered he has a huge tumour growing on his spine; an operation may paralyse him. I would give my life for his in a heartbeat, but God doesn't let us do that. I pray for the courage to help save the planet.

It is't stupid sounding! I love people, all kinds of people even those who are negative. I love human nature and how people tick. People are so much more than names and postions, so precious, so unique! I love to stand back and watch the human race interact with each other like down at work when it's one big fighting soap opera and see how they all react to each other. They all tell me I don't have a mean bone in me and I'd never raise my voice to anyone and it's cause I love them all!
