People don't take the time to get to know one another than decide to tide the knot. (sorry but 3 months is not long enough time to get to know someone). Financial issue, Neither wants to talk about the problem nor deal with it. Divorce is an easy way out for many people. Marriage is about give and take. Some people only take and are not willing to give. These are just a few reasons why I see divorce rate are so high.

there are many reasons why more people are getting divorced these days. some fall out of love with their partners, some would rather just give up and get divorced instead of working at making their marriage work, some realise after they get married that they aren't really suited for one another, some only got married in the first place because of their children and once the children grow up they decide to get divorced, and some are forced into marriage. the list goes on and on.

For one thing women are no longer willing to remain "barefoot and pregnant" Women are no longer totally dependent upon men to "bring home the bacon". Women are just a capable of holding down a fulltime job as a man and they do. Women have come to realize that they don't have to put up with emotional/verbal/physical abuse that they DO have options. They CAN leave the marriage if such occurs. they don't HAVE to "make the best of a bad situation". Women are discovering that they are just as intelligent (if not more so) as their male counterparts.

People today are losing their morals and evil is beginning to win out in the hearts of people around the world.People no longer care about the feelings of others, only themselves. This is why they abuse each other, lie, cheat, kill and lose everything or the chance of just to satisfy their own lust, their own wants. It's greed and there's no end to it.So they no longer Honor the bonds of marriage, and when they do so it seems that divorce is the only way to break their ties to the other person.Rather than to do what's right for both of them. This is what i think.Sad but true.

More women are unwilling to be punch bags and considered less than baby making machines. We're also sick and tired of lazy men who want us to do the cooking, cleaning, and caring of the children all by ourselves while also working full time and not catching a break. We're tired of men thinking it's ok for them to lounge on the couch and give orders, and thinking that everything we do is not considered work. On salary.com, it was said that if a woman were to be paid for everything she does, she would get about half a million per year. More than almost all men.

I think people are getting lazy. Even the people that have been married 50 years will tell you that marriage is hard work. Too many people just want to get and not give.

Because people just think about themselves and their own interests. They live as they like. some times it is necessary to forget ourselves and pay attention to others ideas.these days when people get tired of somebody else, they look for another one! They like to have fun and be happy anytime. managing life and being sad in some situations is not tolerable. Unfortunately these people include husbands and wives too!!!!When they are not satisfied with this one without trying to make it better they change their choice. And this equals DIVORCE!

People realize that they don't have to put up with a lot of stuff because their is always another waiting.
Divorce rate should be going down soon because no one is getting married any more everyone seems to be just living together.

People stay married because they want to stay married.
People get divorced because they don't want to be married anymore.
A person's word is no longer their bond.
Promises mean a lot less than they used to and societies don't seem to care.
Integrity and sacrifice are no longer paramount
Self concern is
I think that about sums it up.

I think people look for the easy way out. It feels like a lucretive option when couples hit the trouble.
The other reason I think is infidelity and the couples not been able to forgive each other after the incident.
