I have a neuro/muscular disease and live with chronic pain that I take daily medication for, kidney stones and have suffered from an open femur fracture, but I still think the worst pain is that of a broken heart. It has been proven that people can die of a broken heart [for example when a spouse dies and the other dies with in 6 months a broken heart is considered a contributing factor] I have also had the unpleasantness of suffering one when my mother died. She and I were very close and I still miss her very much 12 years later but my father was worse, he died 5 months [on the same day of the month at the same time of day] after she did and his cardiologist listed a broken heart as a contributing factor. I have had more pain than I care to talk about but the pain of my mom dying was and is the worse I have ever delt with.

complete blockage as a result of kidney stones. that is really bad . the doctor told me its worse then giving birth.
it is the only time i vomited just as a result of the pain. and that was one of the first questions he asked so that is common.
i sure would not want that again .
i do think that being burned in a fire would be worse i mean near death amount of burns . as far as that goes i would if i had a living will state i do not want any life saving treatment instead just lots of pain meds and let me die . but i have not ever been burned badly . as far as eye pain never had a eye that was so sore as to come anywhere near being on the top of my list .

The worst pain possible is giving birth to a baby who is coming out posterior....but relating to the eye, once while in the shower I dropped a big blob of Head and Shoulders into my eye...IT HURT SOOOOO SOOOOO BAD! I think it may have damaged my eye too because I have perfect vision out of my other eye, but not the one I dropped the shampoo in.

stitches in the head are pretty painful...(but at the time was more embarrasing..) and i hear childbirth is pretty bad.. but i can't speak from experience there.
In the eye.. hmm.. have you ever squirted grapefruit juice directly into the eye? It's quite painful... because the eye is soooo extremely sensitive just about anything can make pain..

I don't think that the eyes are innervated well enough to 'feel' that much pain.

The worst pain is most likely felt elsewhere on the face or on the genitalia.

Flaying....as in a motor bike accident where you skid 100 yards down the asphalt in shorts and lose almost all the skin on your legs and torso....the pain is beyond belief in recovering.

being placed down on a sharp pointy spike from anus to your eye socket, your body weight would pull you down and impale most of your organs up to your throat out your eye. That would suck
