Just hold him as much as you can, and talk to him from the restroom, to remind him you're still there. Newborns have to learn that you still exist even when they don't see you. Make sure to get some relief from baby on a regular basis. Maybe someone else could hold him for 20 minutes every day, and you could get a few hours away once a week. You need this for your sanity. But hold him as much as you can. Babies who are held more, cry less. They need it.

always remember that ur child comes first no matter what, carin for ur self first stopped when they were born! Its all nrmal girl ive had 3 and it aint easy to hear them cry it makes u feel like somethings wrong and there could b but most the time there learnin how to make sounds and they hear themselves so they keep doin it. 4real i no that sounds crazy but think about it! Just let him cry for a few and pick him up and love him to death and talk to him ur voice is soothin to him. Ur voice is what he heard the most he's used to that. I always sang to mine and they would hush right up pat his lil butt and rock him for a while lay him down sideways on the couch or bed with pillows surroundin to protect him and keep pattin that butt soon he'll go off to sleep for a while and then u can nap too, lol. it's a hard job i no i have 3! Just pretend u were him, what would u want it works everytime.
GOOD LUCK

Put him down. Let him cry and get mad. U are not being a bad mother if u have to pee. Sorry, people can get peed off at me if they want. U have to do things for u and if it is a 5 minute time out from Jr. then go ahead. Make sure he is in a safe place first. If u get stressed focus on the ibuproferen.

Just let him cry until you can get back to him. Your first?
Maybe if you put him in a car seat and brought it into the bathroom where he can see you this would make him feel better? He just needs to make sure you are around.
Put on the radio when you have to go to the bathroom?
Some day you will have to let him cry, he might be one of those smart guys and figures out quick if he cries you will pick him up? Babies are/can be very smart !
Had three boys of my own.....well still have them lol!

please don't try to break your baby from communicating his needs! Get a soft carrier, like a sling, MeiTai, or Ergo and wear him. He has been in your body for 9 months and longs for that familiarity. He is not spoiled!
My son was only happy being worn close to me for many months. He is 21 months and doen't like it so much anymore, he would rather run and explore. Carrying your babe cannot spoil them, it can only meet their needs!

I went through this same thing with my daughter- I asked my grandmother for help- her advice was to put the baby down in the his chair or playpen and let him cry it out- make sure he can still see you- and as hard as it may be let him cry- he'll either fall alsleep or find a way to pacify himself without you holding him- It'

will he take a pacifier? Do you have anyone who can come help you during the day? I often took my son to the restroom with me and laid him down on the bathmat while I went, singing to him the whole time.

when my babie's where six weeks old i didn't want to put them down.now i have two grandchildren .but joking aside.you should lay him down with something musical next to him this might sooth him . or you might end up like me and carry them everywhere. i dont see how you can spoil a baby they are very precious one day you will wish you had them back as babies...good luck.

let him cry for a little while, the dr told me sometimes that's good for them cause they are exercising their lungs my son did this it was painful for me to hear him cry but it was for just a few minutes at a time, i couldn't pee or put a load in the wash or even answer the telephone, after a couple weeks of letting him cry for a few minutes he eventually stopped when i left the room for longer periods of time until he stopped all together.

try to have a maid around and tell her to handle him for some time. this way he will get used to be away from u. then u can slowly put him in a cradle. and ensure that the cradle has got enough cushions to make him feel cosy
