Yes they can just like most other vehicles. Since they are so long and there is more of a chance of an accident because of blind spot they, as well as truck drivers, try their hardest not to have to go in reverse.

YES it is true buses actually go backwards. believe it or not. o yea question really isnt that funny. its been quite a waste writing to you on this subject.
