I don't live in the US but I have seen Jack in the Box commercials on tv and the food looked kind of good. I don't eat fast food very often but sometimes late at night I do enjoy a good junk food burger and fries. I was visiting Seattle recently and tried it and it was really gross. Did we just make the wrong choices or is it all really bad?

It's all pretty bad, yes - bad meat, gross veggies, cheap bread, unhealthy oil. You might try In-and-Out Burger, as thir stuff is a little better, and at the very least the fries are superior to any fast food, but that's about it. Jack is one of the worst in the business, no doubt - no taste, bad smell, dirty stores (based on all the joints I have seen around central CA, and I gave up after some 3 or 4 - they were all worse than some restrooms I've seen)

Basically all of the Jack-in-the-Box franchises serve the same menu and get their food supplies from the same manufacturer. The difference will be the workers that prepare those greasy entrees.

I sometimes go there for breakfast - their coffee is really the best of the fast food places. The croissant sandwich is what I order and sometimes the croissant is a smashed pancake; other times it is nice and fluffy. The hash browns are always greasy.

It's not rocket science but somehow, people manage to kill the image that was used for advertisement to entice us. Oh well...

I don't eat fast food often either. Jack in the Box, for all intensive purposes, is pretty similiar to McDonalds and Burger King. I want to say that Jack in the Box mantains an ever so slightly higher standard, but don't quote me on that. They do have those awesome Jack Car Antenna Balls! Wendy's actually prides themselfs on having the freshest ingredients out of the major fast food joints. In fact, I heard that they actually recently became the first fast food place to change over to using fryer oil with no trans fats. You should try them next time. But really, you can't have great expectations for most of the fast food places (taste-wise and health-wise).

Jack in the Box I had in Las Vegas was very
sloppy. I prefer the Wendy's Triple Cheeseburger myself. Tastes like a Hamburger
should, but Burger King has better fries.

My BF loves it. I think you just have to know what to order. I am not a huge fan of their burgers and I never really liked curly fries. Those are his fav. In and Out Burger is the best burger in the universe but you have to eat it about a half a dozen times before you are able to realize it. It's a weird phenomenon but it seems to be true because my friends that also moved out west from the east coast agree.

I first learned about them 6 years ago. I have never seen one before.
They aught to build some in Florida and the Eastern States.
I hear North Carolina has a few though. I bet I would like Jack in the Box.

I live near Seattle, and me and my friends call it Jack in the Crack. I will say it is good when you drunk, but if your not, then no. I don't really care for fast food sober anyways. If I do eat there my favorite thing is the spicy chicken sandwich. Hope next time all those calories are worth it.

depending on the location, the food can be rather good. they do not have a good track record, I remember hearing a while back where their food was making a lot of little kids sick because of their refrigeration was not working properly. I have eaten at them and some are good while others are just gross. like with any fast food it is never as good as what you would make at home. and definatly not heathier.
