If you don't like the challange then don't take honors courses.
Most highschool students don't realize that they are actually sitting on a launch pad to life. Those who do particularly well in highschool get the scholarships for universities and top priorty for admittance. They typically have careers by the time they're 22 unless they take a year off or persue a masters degree or something like that.
Compare that to the 22 year old working at McDonald's for $7.50 an hour.

You need to learn these things in order to prepare for college and a career. You are growing up and you are capable of learning all of your subject matter. You just have to stay focused and apply yourself. If it's truly difficult for you, try a tutoring program. Trust me, your education deserves all the energy you can give it. You'll be thankful for all of the challenges of high school later.

Because you are trying to excel in school. Good for you! You could be taking only the general ed classes. But then you would be looking forward to a mediocre life. Most likely any way. The classes you are taking will get you prepaid for college.
But why ask? You knew all of this anyway.
Keep up the good work. And when you get ready for college, check out University of California at Santa Barbara. (The College of Creative Studies.) Ask them about it. They allow you work at your own pace. If you are a good and hard worker. My son loved it there. And he just graduated this year!

Just remember what John Kerry just got finished saying...even though he was forced to appologize for saying it.
That should keep a fire under your feet.
I found High School very challenging, especially when it got down to the Social Studies Final Exam.
Many students quit it without even trying, and I persevered and just passed that difficult exam.

everything in life is challenging my dear... when your in high school, you'd think this is as hard as it gets, but when u get into college its tougher... u'd think i just gotta get out of this into REAL life... n then its gonna be smooth...

If you think it's difficult, then you have an average to below average intelligence. Go to McDonald's and start shoveling cr@p. Accept what you are and make the best of it.
