use your system clean up to delete all your temp files, including you browser history. Also might be worth performing a malware scan, as this may be why you can't get rid of it.
Download a copy of Ewido and use this to source out the little buggers :)

maybe try tools .. internet options ... content ... auto complete ... clear forms ... I just use Ccleaner instead http://www.ccleaner.com CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware! :)

User regedit for it. And go to the following location
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs. Delete the url whilch you donot want and close all IE windows that will do the best. If you are using any other browser search for one of the URL in regedit and delete those entries and restart the application
