I just avoid them, don't open up to them. On the other hand tho there are people that sometimes have a hard time always getting their thoughts out right and you might miss a good question. Sometimes people don't mean to be stupid and offensive but it just comes out that way.

do you mean in life? or here? on here if you find a stupid or offensive question don't answer or report if really offensive. in life - doubt you can avoid them because won't know they are stupid or offensive until asked. but after, don't show upset but deal. if it is personal, say something like that is personal and walk on. if in general, just smile and say i'll give that all the thought it deserves. various ways but don't get into verbal debate and do shrug it off - why waste your time and energy on it, you can't change them unless they want to change.

Give stupid offensive answers or you can get the spotlight off yourself and say , "Why are you saying that?" or, "What drove you to say that?" You get the point. Try it. It seriously works.

on net, dont answer them, there is no compulsion!!
practically, best way to stop someone is to just shrug off, or giv a smile and move on. or just say I DONT KNOW, or ITS NOT IN MY INTEREST MAY BE U KNOW IT.
or u can reply back with equally stupid questiions and corner him

Tell the person who's asking you the question that they need to leave you alone or just ignor them.

You can't. No matter where you are or what you do,you will always encounter those questions. But if you know better, you would answer those questions cunningly.

ignore, ignore, ignore, unlike some people when i see something i dont agree with i don't get on a soapbox and start preaching, i move on and let them have their freedom speech and i go where i find something i am interested in.
