I watched a very interesting show that proposed a theory about ships vanishing. He also gave a very convincing demonstration. He believes a ship can be sunk immediately if the earth beneath the water was to "Burp" huge amounts of Methane. This occurrence has happened in a lake in Africa which killed off an entire village.

He demonstrated how this would work (in a lab). He had a huge tank filled with water, that enabled him to have tiny bubbles be emitted from the bottom, with a model ship floating above. As soon as the tiny bubbles reached the ship, it sank immediately to the bottom. It showed that the people on board would not have time to call for help. Air (or Methane gas) will reduce the buoyancy of the ship and sink it.

So, this could explain how a ship could vanish without a trace or getting an SOS before it sank. As for the planes, well, they do fall from the sky for many reasons, and the Ocean (even just the Bermuda Triangle) is a pretty big area.

I was Aircrew in the Navy, and had been on Search and Rescue missions in that area. . .I have to tell you, when we were searching, we never found anyone. . .it was very difficult to see anything.

the bermuda triangle is a body of water. like many bodies of water there is vents(holes in the earths crust) at the seabed. These vents in particular release methane gas(ch4). It has been proved that the amount of methane gas that can be released from these vents is enough to inhibit the activity of a combustion engine( the technology used it planes at the time of all the phenomena) and this would cause the planes to crash without any warning by the onboard equiptment because it was not designed to detect these malfunctions. Now, this gas travels trough the water in a type of air vesicle(like blowing into a straw in a drink) and when the vesicles reach the surface; the amount of surface area that the vesicle takes up in the water will force (proportionally) the same amount of water into the air. Now , before i said its enough gas to have enough of a concentration in the air at the altitude a plane flys at to cause the pane to malfunction. This much gas means a lot of water. Enough water that a boat at the surface at the locus of the splash could easily be sinked. this is why so many planes and ships disapeared.

Bermuda triangle is nothing but the water reservior.
Bermuda triangle comes under the high gravitational area of the earth, where the gravitation force of the earth is too high.
so whenever any palne and ship will go in that perticular region, the direction of magnetic compass will deflect and the driver or pilot of the plane and ship will not be able to know the correct direction and it will suffer there itself and will not be albe to come out from that region .The other point is that whenever the plane and ship will go to this region, the radiowaves which are having small frequency in high magnetic filed will not work, these rays will deflect from their source destination, and thus drivers are unable to keep proper contact with world.Hence anybody entering this area will lost their contact from rest of the world.
One option to overcome this problem on my personal basis is that it may be useful to use the meterial while designing the ships and planes ,which shoud not get attracted by strong magnetic field .
Whatever metal used for the designing of the ship and the plane is attracted by the strong gravithational force and hence they sink in the water.

that's a secret! there is probable some extreme potential and a quantum mechanical portal into different dimensions. The greater I lean approximately Binary universe and quantum mechanics I comprehend that this international is sooo different than what the regular individual realizes! that's greater suitable than probable a programed certainty! The triangle shape in and of itself is sooo amazingly obligatory to the consrtuct of the universe! So, is the spiral, without spirals we would not exist! The triangle seems sooo regularly and is soo substantial! i've got faith that the bermuda triangle is one among some issues. the two that's a portal like venture rainbow which runs paralel to this 3 dimensional certainty or that's barely an un repaired glitch in our programed certainty or that's a haven for soul harvesting from interdimensional beings!

The same way they disappear in every other part of the world. Google 'bermuda triangle' and you'll find it's considered a myth by all responsible investigators.

Remember: 'disappeared from our view' does not equal 'disappeared'

It is natural phenomenoa. It is widely accepted that the magnetic field of Bermuda Triangle is different from earths magnetic field, so the gravitational field of Bermuda triangle attracts everything thereby crashing/disapperaing of all objects flying/passing in the said region.

The Bermuda Islands are close enough to the main land that inexperienced people try to make the trek. They can get disoriented and off course, especially in foul weather. Planes crash, boats can sink and it is a big deep ocean.

They do not. Statistics taken from many hundreds of years of "Lost" ships, collated with the number of ship miles traveled in the area show no unusual rates of disappearance. This is a total myth. The same applies to airplanes.

neuralverse and zamb..whatever are correct here, the area contains enough methane to destroy all life on earth (if it were all released suddenly)! Massive methane bubbles could take out the largest ships we have in a matter of seconds, the methane would then rise through the air and instantly disable any piston aircraft it encountered!

So, it wasn't anything spooky or otherwordly, it was just BAD GAS!!!

They do not disappear with much greater frequency than anywhere else.
