it came out earlier this year on i hink channel 28 maybe
the title sounded a bit like "galiga" or "calicat" (even though that sounds stupid)
the guys brother has to cut his legs and put in some stilt-like thing to make him his brothers height, and its in the future too
i really wanted to get this movie, but i didnt catch the name of it

Gattaca
Take place in the future where humans can be "engineered" to be perfect and are considered better than those who aren't.
Although there are two brothers, one is genetically altered and the other is a natural born one. The natural born one is the brother who wants to go to space, so he assumes the identity of another person who's also been genetically engineered to be superior.
The second brother is a detective who stumbles across his brtoher during an investigation.

Yeah, that's Gattaca... came out in 1997 with Ethan Hawke & Uma Thurman
