Hanging. The purposes of hanging, in this case, are two-fold: Punishment for his atrocities, and Establishing a new start for Iraq.
I agree with whoever said that inflicting perpetual pain is more barbaric than a quick death.

The end result will be the same. He will die. If they keep him alive to parade him around and pat each other on the back they will only be asking for trouble from his supporters. They need to now quickly and without fan-fair allow his appeal then carry out the execution.

Hanging can be very agonizing. After I heard the verdict
I thought it would be hard on him. I also thought about being crucified. Probably illegal now ,but that would be what he would actually deserve.

well there are some that believe that we are degrading ourselves by sinking to the level of treating him like a clown and punishing him as if we are as barbaric as he was; there are others who say eye for an eye; i'm for the latter, but lets be as dignified as possible; this is not a joke; this is someone's life about to end.

Personally, I think a quick death penalty is all that is necessary...unless you would rather be sadistic about it. But it's the Iraqis' decision to hang him, not ours.
