I'm looking for some of the dresses from those times. What would they be called, or what could I search on ebay that may bring up some similar searches

The version by Megan Follows and Colleen Dewhurst is by far the best.

The fashion is called Victorian and/or Edwardian.

The book was first published in 1908 so look for that time frame. Here is one site I found:

Well it Anne of Green Gables takes place in the early 1900's so I would look in that time frame. Here's a website to start you off:
