This one's easy (most of my friends would say because I was there......) the first musical instrument (see? SEE? all you others that answered weren't paying attention when you answered voice....)
was a caveman's CLUB - and as he beat it against his dinner to kill it, he liked the sound it made so he beat it a few more times...........
