hey im jsut writing a paper on the importance of young voters....and im just tryin got get some more input! i'm not trying to start criticizing politicians, and those in office now.

Because they have a choice on what is important to them. This starts a life long trend of voting. Let's them know that they can make a difference and contribute to society. Gives them more power on issues that are important to them.

Because to save this country for you to live and prosper in the future, you must take responsibility for what the stuff shirt elders have broken -- democracy. They went after greed and you're going after green-- the preservation of nature and society.

To do that, you must vote and register your displeasure with the rigged voting machines that were purchased and installed by Neoconservative Fascist Republicans. Meet your neighbors and officials and tell them you don't like it.

Your ancestors will thank you!

The phrase "Taxation without Representation" was the purpose of the Revolutionary War. For someone not to vote, young or old, is telling others that they do not want to be represented, thus defeating the whole purpose.

Because if you don't, you will end up with "leaders" like Dumbya who will sell out this world for their immediate profit and leave you in a huge pile of garbage - polluted air, melting ice, dying flora & fauna... any time you don't vote for what's right, you've really voted for what's wrong, because, as we see, idiots did not remain silent at the last two elections.

Because it will make a difference on how much national deficit they are going to have to pay, 10 trillion dollars or 15 maybe 20 trillion?. who knows with this administration.

Well sorry but you all get to inherit this wonderful place and you all get to vote in laws to see if it will be justified to keep polluting the water ,building anything that emits noxious gas in to the atmosphere but we will be dead and gone so GL
