z=0
z=zero

cuz
(z+2)+(-2)=z
(0+2)+(-2)=0
2+-2=0

is this ur question? that wat is z?

wait wat is the question?
is this the answer that u were looking for?huh?

off the top of my head, please look up the exact definitions:
if z is a real number then z+0=z (additive identity, any number +0 = that number)
0 = 2 + -2 (additive inverse)
z + (2 + - 2) = z (substitution, plugging in (2 + -2) in place of 0)
(z +2) + (-2) = z (associative rule of addition)
something like that. I am too old for this.

OK what you would put is ALL REAL NUMBERS. because u can rewrite it z+2-2=z (you lose the parenthesis and the extra signs. then u simplify and that leaves u with z=z cause they cancle each other out and if anything equals anything your answer can be all real numbers. i think the grownups were digging to far in making it harder than it is.

z +2 - 2 = z
0=z-z
z= 1 0=1-1
z=-1 0=-1-(-1)
z is any number between -infinity and infinity
Any number minus itself is = 0

just rewrite it. take off the parentheses so that it is "z+2-2=z" well two minus two = 0 so "z+0=z" meaning "z=z"

z can be a number

(z+2)+(-2)=z = z+2-2=z so yes

my alg. may be rusty....
