Talking about things like phyciatric medication that he had no idea about. Actors should act. Read from a script. They shouldnt be allowed to speak from their own thoughts.

Tom Cruise is a member of the cult of Scientology. That's why he's so harsh about psychiatric medication. The cult thinks that those drugs are bad.

The “church” has taken a very hostile stance towards psychiatry and psychiatric drugs irrespective of the fact that some people require medication to remain adequately functional in everyday life. They deny the reality of chemical imbalance and profound mental disturbance and accordingly do NOTHING to effectively stabilize the dangerously unstable. The “church” has been known to withhold prescription pharmaceuticals from member (with deadly results).

L. Ron Hubbard advocated taking lots of vitamins, sitting in saunas for hours, and immersing oneself totally in Scientology in order to overcome mental and physical ills. To rid ourself of “engrams” (past negative experiences stored in our unconscious mind which may cause us mental and physical problems), we have to go through "auditing" with a member of the “church” who uses an "e-meter" to measure our “reactive mind”...... and we have to pay lots and lots and lots of money for “auditing” (purchased in 12.5-hour blocks, costing anywhere from $750 for introductory sessions to between $8,000 and $9,000 for advanced sessions).

First of all, I think Tom Cruise is just not a very intelligent person. He just happens to be a good looking guy that can act well enough to be in movies. He was an orphan and had a tough upbringing, so Scientology has become his safe haven. Scientology teaches that the drug companies are trying to control our minds, which is why he said the things that he said.

That said, I think you comment about actors speaking in too much of a generalization. There are some brilliant actors out there that do great work for social causes, such as Tim Robbins and George Clooney.

Great movies, but let's leave it at that. Better to be thought a fool then to open your mouth and prove it. Yes, Tom Cruise is an idiot like most movie stars. It disgusts me when I hear of acters making meetings with world/country leaders to talk about politics. Who do they think they are? Delusions of grandiosity to the max! If they want to do some good, they should give away all the millions of dollars.

I think he is an idiot, but celebrities and "commoners" (perhaps what celebrities think of the public) alike should be able to speak, thats what makes them (celebrities) interesting and funny, like an escape from reality. But, I understand, they can be influential and that can make them sort of dangerous to certain members of society who emulate them and don't understand the true substance of a celebrity as it is not based in reality = a potential danger to society and therefore a reason celebrities shouldnt be allowed to speak from their thoughts.

Tom Cruise has definitely changed in the past year or so. He's said & done some things that haven't endeared him to people for sure. Does he get to have his own opinion, yes...should he learn when and where to share it, oh yeah.

Um well... there is that little thing about him having his kid's first POOP bronzed. I would say that is a sure sign of insanity... or just being a spoiled, obnoxious, pompous, egocentric... stop me any time FOOL of a celebrity who really has nothing better to do with his time.. especially since he's not really making movies worth anything anymore.

each and every physique via the seems of it....each and every thing he does is for the hype and to maintain the trademark going....he's a product and not an artist, and that i think scientology is accountable in maximum peoples eyes, yet I purely think of he's purely too susceptible willed and definately has matters that prefer finding out....and his video clips are rubbish besides, which does no longer help
