I always get on from the left. It's where the kick-stand is, so it has nothing to do with being a righty or lefty. It is also the side I get in to drive my car (not in the UK) and the appropriate side to get on a horse. Seeing a trend here? ...and I'm right-handed

I get on from the right side of a bike and I am left handed , but my husband will get on from either side and he is also left handed.
