well its one of the various topics that has been discussed so much. Actually, sledging is very restructed these days as it leads 2 big fines. So most of the players avoid it. But the thing is that when u r playing for ur country, the passion is running so high that, the pl;ayers just erupt even at the slightest of provocation..... Its the part of the game and even the audions enjoy it so much

TOO MUCH SLEDGING LIKE PUSHING EACH OTHER IS
BAD FOR THE GAME
IT HAS HAPPENED
EDDO BRANDES OF ZIMBABWE WAS INVOLVED IN
SUCH BULLYING INCIDENT,PUSHING THE NON STRIKER
UNNECESSARILY,1996.
THE SOUTH AFRICAN TEAM HAS DONE A LOT OF IT.
HANSIE CRONJE AND HIS TEAM MATES LIKE DONALD
DID A LOT OF SLEDGING WHEN THE MATCH WAS GOING
AWAY FROM THEM,1996.IT WAS NOT DONE IN THE RIGHT SPIRIT.THAT WAS REALLY CRUDE,UNSPORTING AND
RASH BEHAVIOUR.

depends.....everythin' up to a limit is desirable....and it should not be harming the spirit of the game....
but unfortunately sledging in cricket often tends to go beyond limits and is never taken in good spirits...

Sledging has been around for a long time, but some "sledgers" go one step further and ruin it for everyone.
