Make sure you keep dog/cat food in a container, like plastic, where they cannot smell it or gain access to it. If there is no food source, they will leave.
This time of the year it is common to get field mice entering for a nice warm place to stay.

get six cats and don't feed them. Well! that would do it! The mice are looking for a warm place to bed down for the winter, with food and water close by. Buy some poison called Bar Bait, they eat it and leave to find water and die.

We use cloves at our cottage every winter & no longer have a problem. We buy them at a bulk food store & put them on tin foil plates. Place a couple in the area you think they may be getting in. Have tried many solutions & this is the first one that has kept us rodent free......Hope it works for you.

thinkof it this way you have further mice from outdoors. greater that probable you wont have the potential to tame them they probable wont eat mouse foodstuff yet maximum obligatory they might have a disease or something else you dont desire that throughout your place. in case you like them as pets pass to a puppy shop and purchase some. that's safer
