GIVE IT UP FOR OLD SCHOOL - HEATHCLIFF IS DA CAT'S MEOW!!!
(Starts humming the theme song from Heathcliff: The Movie) I hate to tell you all, but Heathcliff would tear all these other cats a new litter box. He'd drop kick Garfield outta town, he'd make Hobbs (from Calvin & Hobbs) wish that he'd never been sewn, and give Sylvester an inside look at a Klein bottle (it's a physics thing - a bottle that's inside of itself).
There is no cartoon cat that could come out on top when competing with Heathcliff - he's the original old school CATFIGHTER!!

I love Garfield and Bucky! I have a cat who's a little of both. But my favorite cartoon cat is Sylvester. I remember I could mock him when I was a little kid. There's a cartoon of him where he's yanking his tail and his head is jerking back and forth everytime he does it, and my family used to laugh at me imitating that. *how embarrassing*

I always hated the Garfield character in the funny papers who I find totally annoying. I suppose the Garfield movie was a little more likeable. But the cartoon cat who was "all that" back when I was a kid was Topcat.
