... think they are right? Why do they think that they "KNOW" homosexuality is wrong, when in reality nobody knows if it's right or wrong? Who died and made them God?

Mikey Mike, I'm 22 and I decided to ask a question... is that really so offensive to you?

I think adultery and fornication are way worse. I mean honestly, what harm is a monogomous gay couple doing the world? It really pisses me off when people who cheat and fornicate have the nerve to point fingers at gays.

I think homosexuality is wrong but that does not make me an anti gay or a homosexual hater it just means I have an opinion the same as you do. I would go farther and say I know it is wrong because common senses dictates that our bodies were designed for male/female sex and not same gender sex. Despite this view I have no problem with friends or social acquaintances who might be gay. I think it fair to conclude therefore, that I am not God, just reasonable.

From start of time, humans feared and hated anything they could not understand. But saying gay is wrong comes from even more worrying background. Fraud through hypnosis and later repeated by other scientist, determined that in theory any population will have 4% totally gay people, 4% totally straight people, and remaining 92% bisexual to some extent.

Keeping in mind that bisexuals would have very healthy attraction to the opposite sex, but occasionly (depending how bisexual they are) they may be attracted once in their life time to same sex or up to 50/50 attraction to both sexies all the time. Now 92% is a lot! For some of those people, they do not understand those feelings they have. And because they may restrain themselves from experiementing or maybe they would try it and decide it is not for them; those bisexual would assume that gay people have that same choice! Unfortunately, religion tells them this is the case as well...but this is not the case. For those 4% who are gay ( and it is now believed to be 10% in big cities because of migrations) have always felt attracted to the same sex and could only do and enjoy life that way! Lots of research backs that gay people are born like this. In fact, lots of animal species are born gay as well. This is Nature!

My experience is that religious fundamentalist would not accept this argument just because it shakes their religious beliefs; not because it does not make sense. With those people, leave and let live. You are wasting your time because their life long investment in their spiritual belief is at stake. In many cases, they are very good people who are afraid of something they do not understand - and religion does not give them the clear answers they need.

People are raised with certain familial and religious beliefs. Most people are taught that homosexuality is wrong.
This in turn causes the suicide and attempted and repeat suicide rate to go up when teens and young adults realize they're "homosexual".
No one knows whats right or wrong so don't let anyone make a choice for you, inflict their beliefs on you or tell you that same sex relationships are wrong. You look at your beliefs and decide on your own

You may agree that homosexuality is the exception rather than the norm. This does not mean it's wrong, but it's not the way the human being is supposed to be. Some people accept it, others don't. Personally I believe everyone should be free to live the way he wants, but I don't like when gays make a lot of advertisement and noise about themselves. If one is gay, well, be it, but leave the others alone!

Many people hold strong opinions against homosexuals and I feel that this is down to ingnorance. I cannot understand it- you might meet a person and have a chat with them down the pub for example, but their sex life is nothing to do with you. Why should it be any different for gays/lesbians/bisexuals. Live and let live that is what I say!

Because there are alot of people that are narrow minded and think they are better than others, just because they are straight and we are not straight. Nobody is wrong for loving someone else of the same sex. As long as you are a good person who cares who you love?
The people that are hateful are trolls and clones and should be reported, maybe that will stop the dumb stuff. :)

It always amazes me that the religious folk always quote St.Paul chapter and verse.

Do they also accept that women have no rights and should not be allowed into church?

At least one answerer doesn't have to quote St.Paul, for she is none other than the "highly favoured" one....a pregnant unmarried mother-to-be, still a virgin, visited by angels, about to meet three kings from the east and become the Mother of God.

If that's being a heterosexual believer, I'm glad I'm gay!

They read a passage in some book claiming it was evil, and someone they trusted told them this book was the inspired word of the Ultimate Authority on what is good and what is evil.

Without noticing that this same book has, at times, condoned genocide, slavery, rape and human sacrifice...

Marriage is MAN MADE! Being faithful is MAN MADE! LAWS ARE MAN MADE!!!

It cracks me up to see people think like you & then a month later you will be asking what you should do about your boyfried for sleeing with your friend or you mother or your cat. Why cant he? Who died & made you god to dictate what he can or can not do. Toss the laws, who do people think they are telling me what I can not do?

We were raised to think marriage of a man & a women is right. Not a woman & a german shepard, not a man & an 6 year old girl & not same sexes. If it is your belief that people should be allowed to have sex with childern, fruit, animals or the same gender, then so be it & do something about it. But dont knock those who are following a structute to something that was taught to us from day one, or for defending it. HE HAVE JUST AS MUCH RIGHT to say it is wrong then you do to say it is right.
