Do women really like a guy to wear aftershave or cologne? I know it shouldn't be so heavy that it knocks you over, but if you do like it, what kind do you like? If you don't, why not? What do you want your guy to smell like?

There are several kinds that I love on a guy, the two favorites being Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche and Tommy Boy by Tommy Hilfiger, but they are not the majority.
I think too many men's fragrances are musk-based (real or synthetic) and to me, musk just smells like sweat. I prefer the fresh, clean scents of woody, leather, and amber based colognes.

I like aftershave and cologne, but I shouldn't be able to smell it 6 feet away from him. It's not a substitute for bathing! That goes for women too! I like the classic English Leather as well as Liz Claiborne for Men, and Calvin Kline's Obsession, Escape, and One for Men. Those are the only types I can think of right now.

OOHHH! AHHH! I love the mens cologne and after shave by Este Lauder, for men. Not sure what it's called but one evening a few girlfriends and I were at Neimans and followed this guy around until he told us what he was wearing!! With the holidays coming up quickly I would suggest all you men get out there and start sampling some of those warm, spicy, seductive scents. Ohh Lala

Absolute yes, I love Obsession for men. I think guys who wear aftershave or cologne are very sexy.

I love a man to smell good and fresh!! A great cologne that smells great on any man is Eternity. It is a classic. Also that new Axe smells good and it is pretty cheap and lasts a long time.

I love a good smelling man!! Boucheron, Perry Ellis 360, Halston, Time Bomb, Gucci Rush, Escape, Angel, Eternity , Cool Water, Curve just to name a few !!!

Ick, cologne is a definite turnoff for me. I just like my guys to smell clean, like soap or shampoo or something.

2 sprays of cologne no more, Curve Crush is a good one very soft and smooth to the nostrils.

well, the u r the only one that matters so what do u want him to smell like? i like it if a guy uses colone but i hate "axe" and "tag" and cheap junky things like that so if they do take the time to use those type of things id go for somthing that smells like it costed a million $. lol. but seariously, buy somthing that actually smells like u paid the price u did. dont wear any cheap stuff. it makes them seem fake.

i would the guy to smell good . personally i like dune its really sexy not too heavy not too light just perfect.
