my period was 4 days early and wasnt normal for me. it was 3 days and it was a rusty redish pink at times and brown. then it came back for about 5 hours the following day and then it was gone again. and now i have light light light brown spotting not even enough to wear a pad. and cramping. can you have this and be pregnant. the only other things are feeling nause at times out of no where. tired all the time. and to me the rounds of my nipples look a little darker and my boobs are starting to get sore again. im not stressed or anything i have been pretty calm about it all. can this happen and still be pregnant? i have my yearly on thursday should i just wait and has anyone ever had this before? oh and my normal period is due today and nothing but off and on cramping through out the day and thats about it

You can have your normal period or a period like you described. That's what I did. I just figured my period was short that month. Turns out I was pregnant. Have the doctor test you on thurs. They can do a urine or blood test.

The brown discharge is merely old blood coming out. Sometimes pregnant women do experience a small amount of spotting. It is normal to have an abnormal period every once in a while. If it remains abnormal for more than six months, that is when you should be talking to your doctor. Since you are having your appointment on Thursday, go ahead and request a pregnancy test.

It's very unlikely to have a period when you are pregnant, but some women still have periods when they are pregnant. I'm not sure of your age, but periods are usually pretty irregular for at least the first 5-8 years. At least that's what my doctor told me. But if I were you I would take a pregnancy test. It's always better to be safe, than sorry...

Drink a lot of water it just could be your hormones being crazy! Ask your doc about it. Chances are that your not preg but your freaking yourself out which is making your body act funny. Just be calm.
