Ask a silly question & get.....who got us into this in the first place? Since we "attacked" Iraq, terrorism has rapidly accelerated & logic tells us why. Hey. Don't listen to the generals, the military guys who know what is REALLY going on over there. Just get a puckered brow & a long sorrowful face over all the lost lives (not just Americans) & for WHAT? Most of the "dems" want us out, as well as some of the "pubs" but oh no. We've got to finish the job, by gum! Can't "back down" now! Pride & power & greed & all of that, & who suffers? NEEDLESSLY. Have you noticed the polls for some time now?
Americans are not as stupid as some politicians believe us to be. This should never have begun.

Not sure. Last time a Democrat was in office, the US was attacked 5 times with nothing done. But, everyone is more aware now of what others are capable of and I think a precedent has been set in terms of American sentiment in the event of another attack. I don't see anything happening for a very long time from foreign groups.
FYI: 5 times: World Trade Center--twice.
