As you grow up you will see that 's part of the reason people join clubs. ex. the gym yes people go cause they like it, but there is also a percentage of people who go in there looking to meet people with the same interest. So she may have just been flirting with you. don't take it in any bad way.

No , if she sayed it in a mean way , you will know.I dont think it's wrong to join a club just to meet girls . Girls do it to. My friends did. But it sounds like she was only jokeing .

Have you considered that she may be interested in you and made the assumption in the hope that she may be correct and you may be interested in her. If you get in the same situation just reply with ' I enjoy meeting new people all the time dont you?'

She was just playing with you. I do it all the time with guys =) and say something like that. It's fun 'cos sometimes they get all shy or say something funny back.
It's rude if she said it in a rude tone but if she was smiling than it's okay.

i think that it was a little rude because she didn't really know your sole purpose for being there so i think its a little rude of her part. who knows maybe she just went there to meet guys and she didn't want to be the only one so she judged w/ out knowing.
