Let's say you were driving down the road and you see a nice looking older white male who needed a hitchride, some would say they would more like pick up the white man as oposed to a black man who did the same? there can be many other countless examples. I see the pattern though.

i think first of all i wouldnt pick up any man, second of all in most cases black man are trouble i am sorry for being rude ignorant or whatever but lets face it its true and people are just scared and they dont want to make risks. Its not like white people are saint but they are just little bit trustworthy, at least they have some respect towards. I have a black boyfriend and he is the biggest gentlemen but i wouldnt say that about most of his black friends

I wouldn't recommend that anyone pick up a hitchhiker. But the media and the worlds sees people of African decent as powerful, mysterious and unstable. It comes from, not understanding our culture and perceiving us as something we are not.I mean black folks are colorful and sometimes when we are aggressive in a white culture its perceived as being "angry" or "mad". America still has work to do its getting a little better... Although I must admit we do seem to do better in sports....
