My Husband ARMY SOLDIER

2006-11-06 15:48:09 · answer #1 · answered by ♥Shortie♥ 5 · 1 0

MY GRANDMOTHER ---- She has worked all her life to support not only her and her family but me and my brothers and sisters as well. She has worked hard all her life and taught me the good sense and reward of having a strong work ethic. She is now at an age and a health state that she really needs to retire and doesnt even know if she'll be able to do it because she needs to keep her mortgage paid. I want so desperately to be in a position to pay all her bills for her. She's my hero...she's been so much better to me than anyone else in my life and even when I'm frustrated with her I cant ever say that she isnt the hardest working and supportive person I know.

1) My parents

2) (was) Sung by John Lennon

As soon as your born they make you feel small,
By giving you no time instead of it all,
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
They hurt you at home and they hit you at school,
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool,
Till you're so ******* crazy you can't follow their rules,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years,
Then they expect you to pick a career,
When you can't really function you're so full of fear,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV,
And you think you're so clever and classless and free,
But you're still ******* peasants as far as I can see,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
There's room at the top they are telling you still,
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill,
If you want to be like the folks on the hill,
A working class hero is something to be.
A working class hero is something to be.
If you want to be a hero well just follow me,
If you want to be a hero well just follow me.

A couple answers already the same, but first thing I thought of was John Lennon's song. Good fit for election day.
