Did anyone see Faith's reaction when Carrie won. She looked pissed!!!

She clearly thought she'd win it - I totally changed my mind about her - she's won plenty of awards; and was SO ungracious. She knew she was on camera - and said 'WHAT' and then ran off camera - it was bad.

Yes, she did look pissed, you are right. I replayed it a few times also. I would like to think of myself as a knowledgeable country music fan who watches,listens, and attends concerts. So I think I am qualified enough to answer this question. Regardless of the point of who deserved the award more, the fact of the matter still stands that Carrie won it, and truth probably be told that Faith probably would have acted that way if anyone except for her would have one. I thought that there were several different ways for someone who has been in front of the camera for years to know how to bow out graciously, even if she did feel like that. Everyone is entitled to their own feelings. Faith is a very accomplished singer no doubt, but she has had more than her moment to shine. The other nominees were nominated because they deserved the award also. Carrie is a very talented woman, who can go along way, I think that she is one of the most talented to come up new and fresh in county music in a long time. As far as how she got her foot in has nothing to do with it, everyone gets in by knowing someone, and American Idol is a people choice contest. So the people chose this year Carrie for Female Artist. Just my look on it.

Yes, I did see it and I don't think that Faith Hill was joking, that reaction was a very pure reaction. I'm glad the Carrie Underwood won, she deserved it.

Yes I did see her reaction and rightfully so! Carrie has been out here for 2 yrs thanks for American Idol and got this award. Faith, Martina, Gretchen, and Sara they worked their butts off to get where they are. It was crazy that Carrie won this award. I don't blame Faith for being pissed and throwing her hands up yelling "WHAT" Carrie winning this was a joke! She does not deserve it.
Reading everyone elses post. i have to add this. Ya'll have to understand a little something first. Faith being gone for 6 yrs coming back with a awesome album, having the #1 highest selling tour , She should of been nominated for more than she was , Tim McGraw was totally shut out of the CMA's which does not makes sense with a album released this year, the #1 highest selling tour and he had a movie but he did not get any recognition. Also, back in the spring at the CMT's She did not get nominated as much as she should of been, Tim again was ignored. This was handed to Carrie~ Faith worked hard to get where she is. ya got to understand that. Faith is NOT ungrateful or anything of the sort, there is just alot that ya'll may not of known when it comes to the music industry, Faith and Tim. She will never be too old to get recognized for what she is giving to her fans. The comment of Faith being jealous of Carrie Give me a break!!!! Faith has much much more than carrie would ever imagine!!!!!

Aww! I missed it! I hope they come out with clips of it on the internet so I can see it! Everyone gets their start somewhere, and Carrie Underwood got her induction as a bona fide country star tonight. Faith, Gretchen, and everyone else had their time too. Be happy for Carrie!

I saw it and was shocked, my respect for Faith Hill diminished. Regardless whether Carrie Underwood should have won, Faith Hill's reaction was graceless and disrespectful. It was also coming from her gut, her true feelings as she obviously thought she'd won for a fraction of a second (she grinned broadly, had her arms excitedly in the air) and then a split second later, the name of the winner sunk in and she spat out, "WHAT?!" angrily at the camera. Looks like she has become a self-righteous diva.

Faith Hill is so ungracious! Yeah, she is a good singer but come on. She has had her time in the spotlight and now it is Carrie Underwoods turn to shine. Faith in my opinion is a little too old to act the way she did!

Faith Hill is my all time favorite female singer, but I hate to say it...yes she looked pissed! I tivo'd the whole thing and replayed it about 10 times..paused...replayed... as I read her lips it appeared she said "What?!?!?!"

Nobody likes being last year's news and it seems odd that every woman that gets American Idol gets an award the next year.

I saw it and my initial reaction was "she's making a joke".
