pcolaengr1, who told you Indians can't participate in the swimsuit round?
In the past 10 years, 2 Indian women have won the Miss Universe title... Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta, maybe they're just giving other countries a chance?

It is not fair to comment like this. Indian girls can certainly win these titles. The ingrdients required for winning are all there in Indian girls (Beauty of mind and body). Do not get disheartened, Indian girls can certainly win.
